Job Summary:We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Critical Care Registered Nurse to join our team at Cynet Health. As a Critical Care Nurse, you will provide high-quality patient care in a dynamic ICU environment, handling complex patients across various medical specialties.
Job Responsibilities:- Provide care in a 1620 bed ICU unit with a nurse-to-patient ratio of 1:1 or 1:2.
- Utilize the Cerner electronic medical records system.
- Collaborate with a charge nurse and work without nurse aides on the team.
- Work every other weekend and fill weekend schedule gaps as needed.
- Availability for 24/7 intensive care support and pharmacy services.
- Handle adult and pediatric patients with various medical needs, including:
- MedSurg, Neuro, Balloon pumps, Cranies, occasional ICP, CABG, trauma cases, psych overdoses, peds minor/DKA, TPA, hypothermia, ECMO, Impella, CRRT, TAVR, and EVAR.
- Additional training opportunities for procedures like carotid stenting, ECOS, and IABP if experienced.
- Adhere to a flexible schedule with potential on-call shifts requiring a 30-minute response time.
- Attend a two-shift orientation specific to the ICU floor before starting independently on the third shift.
- Follow the hospital's cancellation policy with the possibility of three canceled shifts per assignment.
- Wear navy scrubs as the required uniform.
- Must float to Telemetry unit with a 4:1 ratio when needed.
