Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Para Professional to join our team at State Road Elementary School. As a Para Professional, you will play a vital role in supporting the educational and social development of our students.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide instructional support to students in a WIN (What I Need) Room setting
- Assist teachers with lesson planning, implementation, and assessment
- Support students with academic and behavioral needs
- Collaborate with teachers and other staff members to develop and implement individualized education plans
- Communicate effectively with students, parents, and staff to ensure a positive and inclusive learning environment
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's or bachelor's degree preferred
- Experience working with students with diverse needs and abilities
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
