Licensed Practical Nurse

We are seeking a skilled Licensed Practical Nurse to join our Internal Medicine team in Purchase, NY. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will assist in planning and implementing care interventions while promoting high-quality patient care in a professional, efficient, and safe manner.
Key Responsibilities:- Manage patient flow efficiently to maintain a smooth and organized work environment.
- Provide personal assistance, medical attention, emotional support, or other personal care to patients as needed.
- Administer medications, including injections and IV therapy, as required and within the scope of licensure.
- Collect, label, and process specimens accurately.
- Clean and prepare medical treatment rooms for patient visits.
- Assemble and use equipment appropriate to specific medical practice.
- Schedule follow-up appointments for patients as needed.
- Communicate delays effectively when necessary.
- Graduate of LPN school program.
- Current licensure as LPN in the state of New York.
- IV and/or phlebotomy skills preferred.
- Completes competency skill checklist within the first 3 months.
