Position Overview

The Facilities Maintenance Technician plays a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our hotel by performing a variety of maintenance tasks. This position is responsible for maintaining the aesthetic and functional integrity of the property.

Key Responsibilities:

Routine Maintenance: Conduct regular inspections and perform maintenance in public areas, meeting spaces, and guest rooms to ensure all facilities are in optimal condition.

Repairs: Address and resolve maintenance issues, including repairs to televisions, plumbing fixtures, and HVAC systems, ensuring guest comfort and satisfaction.

Preventative Maintenance: Implement a preventative maintenance program, preparing necessary tools and supplies for daily tasks.

General Upkeep: Maintain the overall appearance of the hotel by executing touch-up painting, replacing broken fixtures, and ensuring cleanliness in all areas.

Safety Compliance: Adhere to safety protocols and report any hazards or injuries promptly to maintain a secure environment for guests and staff.

Team Collaboration: Work closely with housekeeping and other departments to ensure a seamless guest experience, assisting with cleaning and organization as needed.

Qualifications:

Education: High school diploma or equivalent is required.

Skills: Basic communication skills, both verbal and written, are necessary. The ability to understand and follow safety procedures is essential.

Physical Requirements: The role requires standing for extended periods, lifting up to 75 lbs, and performing tasks that involve bending, stooping, and reaching.

All associates are expected to maintain a professional appearance and comply with company standards at all times.
