As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the service department, ensuring efficient and profitable service delivery, and maintaining high-quality service repairs.

Responsibilities:

* Forecasts goals and objectives for the service department and strives to meet them.
* Hires, trains, motivates, counsels, and monitors the performance of all service department staff.
* Prepares and administers a monthly, annual operating budget for the service department.
* Monitors and controls the performance of the department using appropriate reports, tracking systems, and surveys.
* Understands and ensures compliance with manufacturer warranty and policy procedures.
* Holds weekly department meetings.
* Monitors technicians' daily productivity reports and corresponding payroll records.
* Maintains high-quality service repairs and minimizes comebacks. Conducts periodic spot checks of completed jobs for thoroughness and quality.
* Keeps abreast of new equipment and tools available and recommends purchases.
* Serves as liaison with factory representatives.
* Input pricing guides and maintenance menus for frequent labor operations.
* Handles customer complaints immediately and according to dealership's guidelines.
* Maintains a safe work environment.
* Maintains a professional appearance.

Requirements:

* A successful record of accomplishment within the industry.
* Leadership skills.
* Excellent customer service skills. (CSI / Customer Experience)
* Outstanding communication skills, both verbal and written.
* The ability to work well in a process-driven environment.
