Job Overview
Applied Research Associates, Inc. (ARA) is seeking a talented System Engineer for Counter-WMD Capabilities to provide technical and program management support to the Defense Threat Reduction Agency (DTRA) in developing counter-WMD weapons and capabilities.
About the Role
This position requires a highly skilled individual with 7 years of experience in Weapons Development and/or Testing, Systems Engineering, Technical Program Management/Support, or DoD System Acquisition and Program Management.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop threat analyses to inform capability concept development
- Conduct SWaP analysis, trade-space analysis for selected concepts
- Draft technology program plans
- Participate in program technology and quality reviews/assessments
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in engineering or hard science
- Current / active SECRET clearance with ability to obtain and maintain a TS/SCI clearance
Salary Information
The estimated annual salary for this position is $115,000 - $140,000, depending on qualifications and experience.
