Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Behavioral Health Provider LCSW(A), LCMHC(A), or LMFT(A) to join our team at Kintegra Health. As a key member of our multidisciplinary primary care treatment team, you will work under the direct supervision of the Director of Behavioral Health to provide holistic, whole-person healthcare to our patients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide behavioral health and substance abuse screening, brief intervention, education, and referral services for patients presenting in our primary care clinics.
  • Collaborate with primary care medical staff to provide ongoing consultation and treatment planning support for patients with psychosocial, behavioral health, chronic disease, behavior change, and/or substance use concerns.
  • Develop and implement behavioral health, substance abuse, and chronic disease management plans of care through the use of appropriate treatment modalities, interventions, and available community resources.
  • Engage in ongoing assessment and quality improvement strategies to assist in the implementation of primary care/behavioral health integration strategies.
  • Provide consultative services to healthcare team members within the scope of care definitions and provide training to other healthcare professionals as needed.
  • Complete all required documentation related to patient treatment, payment for services rendered, and organizational operations in a timely manner.
  • Engage in continuing education to maintain licensure and enhance professional competence relevant to medical and legal issues that impact patient care.
  • Maintain a working knowledge of and liaison with community agencies and resources.

Requirements:

  • Minimum two years' experience in a public health setting.
  • Licensed Clinical Social Worker Certification (LCSW or LCSW-A) in good standing with the Social Work Certification and Licensure Board of North Carolina (or equivalent).
  • Master's Degree.
