About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Furniture Delivery Specialist to join our team in Round Rock, TX. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for delivering, picking up, and installing housewares and furniture within CWS standards and procedures safely and efficiently.

Responsibilities

  • Pull, inspect, and load/unload furniture and housewares on/off company vehicles.
  • Perform and complete work orders within CWS standards and procedures while using the company's mobile field service/ERP system.
  • Inspect assigned vehicle daily before and after usage, maintain vehicle log, and report any problems to the operations manager. Operate all company vehicles in a professional, safe, and courteous manner including utilizing team members to spot when driving the box truck in reverse and parking. Maintain cleanliness of the company vehicle.
  • Maintain furniture, housewares, tooling, and moving equipment inventory and report to the supervisor of any supply requirements to perform daily tasks.
  • Report to the supervisor of any damaged inventory discovered while performing a service such as during a reset/turn clean, maid service, or delivery/pick-up.
  • Perform housekeeping duties which include reset/turn cleans, touch up cleans, and maid services and prepare housewares kits as needed.
  • Product care including cleaning housewares, washing linens, and troubleshooting electronics.
  • Follow bed bug protocol and procedures.
  • Maintain organization and cleanliness of the warehouse including furniture, housewares, and equipment.
  • Evaluate damages and select appropriate methods of repair and/or restoration for furniture. Cleaning of furniture per procedures. Assemble/disassemble furniture as needed.
  • Travel to business regions to complete job-related tasks as needed including overnight stays.
  • Responsible for safety procedures and bring any unsafe working conditions to the attention of management immediately.

Requirements

  • A high school diploma or GED or equivalent.
  • At least 1 year of experience in the furniture moving industry is highly preferred. Experience in property maintenance management or in-housekeeping is a plus.
  • The ability to pass a background check, drug test, and driving record check annually, as per company policy and guidelines.
  • A valid and unexpired driver's license that meets company driving standards and current automobile insurance and registration.
