About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to join our team at CBRE. As a key member of our facilities team, you will be responsible for performing preventive maintenance and corrective repairs of buildings, building systems/equipment, vehicles, and grounds within a geographical area/route potentially across multiple sites.

Key Responsibilities
  • Performs assigned day-to-day repairs, emergency and preventive maintenance, and completely documents progress.
  • Maintains lighting systems throughout the facility, cleaning fixtures and replacing bulbs and lamps.
  • Performs light systems maintenance, patch and paint, welding, occasional furniture assembly, and locksmith tasks as needed.
  • Inspects building systems, including fire alarms, HVAC, and plumbing, to ensure operation of equipment is within design capabilities and achieves environmental conditions prescribed by the client.
  • Assists with fixing and repairs of buildings and installed systems, including plumbing systems, kitchen equipment, roofs, drains, shop, and HVAC.
  • Reviews assigned work orders, estimates time and materials needed to complete repair, orders materials and supplies to finish the tasks, and applies CMMS to document work order progress and supervise completion.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent and a minimum of 2 years of related experience and/or trade school training.
  • Possess and maintain a valid driver's license and good driving record with periodic checks.
  • Possess skills to functionally operate a full-size van/truck.
  • Licensure required by local authorities Having Jurisdiction (AHJ).
  • Excellent verbal and written communications.
  • Proven track record of providing excellent internal and external customer service.
  • Strong understanding and consistency to safety practices.
