RD Nutrition Consultants LLC stands as a premier Dietitian Consulting organization, recognized for delivering outstanding services to healthcare institutions across the nation. We are currently seeking a dedicated Acute Care Dietitian for a temporary engagement lasting 4-6 months.
Position Details:
- Work Schedule: Three 10-hour shifts weekly.
- Contract Duration: 4-6 months.
- Compensation: $55.00 per hour, including travel time to and from the healthcare facility.
- Travel Compensation: Paid at the hourly rate for travel time to and from the healthcare facility.
- Registered with the Commission on Dietetic Registration.
- At least 1 year of clinical experience in acute care environments (preferred).
- Expertise in delivering acute care nutrition interventions, particularly for critical care patients.
- Experience with tube feeding in acute care settings.
- Familiarity with electronic medical record systems.
- Understanding of state survey processes and compliance with nutrition care regulations in acute care.
- Excellent oral and written communication abilities.
- Perform comprehensive nutritional assessments for patients in acute care.
- Deliver medical nutrition therapy customized to acute care requirements, including critical care situations.
- Provide timely and effective nutritional counseling and education for patients and their families.
- Adhere to DOH/state/federal regulations and company standards in acute care nutrition.
- Function effectively and independently, even in high-pressure acute care settings.
