Fabrication Trainee Job Opportunity

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Fabrication Trainee at Larry Methvin Installation Inc.

About the Role:

The selected candidate will be trained on the glass fabrication process, including cutting, polishing, seaming, handling, staging, and other tasks. As a Fabrication Trainee, you will work under the direct supervision of a shift supervisor and department lead, and will be expected to learn and adapt quickly to our team's standards.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the fabrication process, including cutting, polishing, and seaming glass
  • Learn and follow safety protocols and quality control procedures
  • Work collaboratively with the team to meet production goals
  • Participate in training and development programs to enhance skills and knowledge

Requirements:

  • No prior experience is required, but previous glass handling experience is a plus
  • Ability to lift 50 pounds frequently and 75 pounds occasionally
  • Reliable transportation to and from work
  • Ability to read, write, and speak English fluently
  • Ability to work a night shift
  • US Citizen or Green Card holder
  • Ability to pass a mandatory pre-employment physical and drug screening
