Position Overview:
We are seeking a skilled Interventional Radiologist with expertise in all facets of interventional radiology.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform diagnostic procedures as required based on scheduling needs.
- Primarily focus on interventional radiology tasks.
Location:
Phoenix, AZ
Contract Duration:
Ongoing full-time position with vacation coverage.
Certification Requirements:
- Must be Board Certified in Interventional Radiology with completed fellowship training.
Work Schedule:
- Monday to Friday, 8 AM to 5 PM.
- On-call availability from Monday to Thursday, 5 PM to 8 AM, and weekend call for 24 hours.
Work Environment:
- Inpatient setting with a high volume of cases, primarily sourced from the emergency department.
Case Volume:
- Approximately 80% of cases are derived from a Level 1 Trauma center.
Technical Requirements:
- Familiarity with Cerner EMR and Powerscribe 360 dictation systems.
Licensing:
- An active Arizona medical license is required.
Privileges:
- Standard privileges apply, typically granted within 90 days.
