About the Role

The StaRN Residency Program at Oviedo Medical Center is a comprehensive training program designed to support the transition of new graduate nurses into the clinical setting. As a Resident I Graduate Nurse, you will have the opportunity to develop your clinical and critical thinking skills in a supportive and collaborative environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assess patient condition and identify changes in patient status
  • Perform procedures and monitoring as ordered by medical providers
  • Administer prescribed medications and monitor patient response
  • Teach patients and families about medical conditions, treatment plans, and medications
Requirements
  • Basic Cardiac Life Support (BLS) certification within 30 days of employment
  • Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification within 1 year of employment
  • Associate or Bachelor's degree in Nursing
  • Registered Nurse License or Graduate Nurse in the State
