Your Responsibilities:

As a Sanitation Technician, your primary role will be to ensure the cleanliness and hygiene of the Emory Primate Center location, recognized as a leading national public health institute. You will engage in various manual tasks essential for the daily upkeep of the facility.

Your duties will encompass a range of activities that require moderate physical strength, including but not limited to: dust mopping, sweeping, damp mopping, vacuuming, dusting, restroom sanitation, waste removal, and polishing of furniture and fixtures.

Qualifications:

  • Basic understanding of cleaning techniques, materials, and equipment
  • Capability to stand for extended periods while maintaining a positive demeanor during repetitive tasks
  • Ability to perform physical tasks that involve the use of cleaning tools and equipment
  • Competence in following both verbal and written instructions
  • Skill in fostering and maintaining positive relationships with supervisors and colleagues

Work Schedule:

Shifts will be scheduled from Sunday to Thursday, during the late evening to early morning hours.
