At Aaron Manor Nursing and Rehabilitation Center, we are seeking a skilled Dietary Aide to join our team. This role is an excellent opportunity for individuals who enjoy working in a fast-paced environment and providing exceptional service to our residents.

Job Summary

As a Dietary Aide, you will be responsible for assisting in the preparation and serving of meals to our residents. You will work closely with our culinary team to ensure that all food is prepared to the highest standards and presented in a visually appealing manner.

Responsibilities:
  • Assist in the preparation of meals, including food preparation, cooking, and plating
  • Help serve meals to residents, ensuring that they receive their correct orders and dietary requirements are met
  • Maintain a clean and safe kitchen environment, adhering to all health and safety regulations
  • Participate in daily cleaning duties, including washing dishes, sweeping, and mopping floors
  • Restock supplies and ingredients as needed
  • Communicate effectively with residents, staff, and visitors, responding to their needs and concerns
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; culinary experience preferred
  • Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English fluently
  • Physical stamina to lift up to 25 pounds and stand for long periods
  • Reliable attendance and punctuality, with flexibility to work varying shifts, including weekends and holidays
