Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Part-time Cashier to join our team at Great Lakes Ace Hardware. As a Part-time Cashier, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, operating a cash register, and maintaining a clean and organized store environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Operate a cash register and process transactions accurately and efficiently
  • Provide excellent customer service and respond to customer inquiries
  • Maintain a clean and organized store environment, including the sales floor and cash wrap area
  • Restock merchandise and maintain visual displays
  • Assist with opening and closing procedures, including counting cash and balancing the register
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Previous retail or customer service experience preferred
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for long periods of time
