About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled Telecoms Engineer to join our team in Belfast. As a Field Service Technician, you will be responsible for the installation and commissioning of telecoms equipment, as well as performing 1st line reactive maintenance work on our support contracts.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Installation and commissioning of telecoms equipment
  • 1st line reactive maintenance work on support contracts
  • Working at height and in confined spaces
  • Performing industry-standard testing on telecoms and antenna systems
  • Equipment installation and commissioning across various projects
  • Wiring and connection of DC power to telecoms equipment
  • 1st line support and troubleshooting of customer equipment

Requirements:

  • Previous work as a junior or field engineer in the telecoms sector
  • Use of equipment like BERT, RF sweeper, and multimeters
  • Use of power tools, hand tools, ladders, or any work at height
  • Driving for work or managing a company vehicle
  • Previous electrical or mechanical work
  • A strong set of IT skills, including Microsoft Office products, basic DOS commands, mobile phone work apps, and online time sheets
