Job Overview

At Watkins Distributing, we are seeking a skilled Class A CDL Delivery Driver to join our team. As a key member of our logistics department, you will be responsible for delivering beverages to our customers in a safe, timely, and professional manner.

Key Responsibilities
  • Pre-Trip Vehicle Inspection: Conduct a thorough inspection of your vehicle before each delivery to ensure it is in good working condition.
  • Route Delivery: Drive your assigned route, delivering beverages to our customers in a safe and efficient manner.
  • Product Handling: Unload product from the trailer using a pallet jack and/or hand truck, and check product in with store personnel.
  • Inventory Management: Fill all cooler space, shelf space, and displays at the time of delivery, and rotate products according to company standards.
  • Customer Service: Provide excellent customer service to our customers and their employees at all times.
  • Communication: Communicate effectively with sales reps and other team members to ensure seamless delivery operations.
Requirements
  • Valid Driver's License: Possess a valid driver's license with no major driving violations.
  • Lifting and Mobility: Be able to lift 25-35lbs regularly, and 160lbs to waist level, and navigate with a hand truck full of products.
  • CDL License: Ability to obtain and maintain a Class-A CDL license, and medical card.
  • Technical Skills: Ability to utilize standard hand-held computer input/output devices.
