Summa Health System is seeking a skilled Licensed Practical Nurse to join our Labor and Delivery Unit team. As a key member of our care team, you will assist in providing and coordinating nursing care to patients, their families, and the community.

The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in nursing principles and practices, with a focus on delivering high-quality patient care. You will work closely with Registered Nurses and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized care plans, ensuring the best possible outcomes for our patients.

Responsibilities will include:

  • Assisting with clinical planning and care of patients
  • Communicating effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams
  • Managing resources and prioritizing tasks to ensure efficient care delivery

Requirements for this role include:

  • Graduation from an accredited LPN nursing program
  • Authorization by the State of Ohio Board of Nursing to perform intravenous therapy procedures and administer medications
  • At least one year of related LPN experience, with a focus on Labor and Delivery care
