We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our Medical Surgical team at HCA Florida Gulf Coast Hospital. As a RN Med Surg PRN, you will have the opportunity to work in a dynamic and fast-paced environment, providing high-quality patient care and collaborating with a multidisciplinary team.
Responsibilities- Provide professional nursing care to patients, utilizing the nursing process and maintaining compliance with the Florida Nurse Practice Act.
- Collect comprehensive data pertinent to the patient's health or situation, analyze the assessment data to determine the diagnosis or issues, and identify expected outcomes for a plan individualized to the patient and the situation.
- Develop and implement a plan that prescribes strategies and alternatives to attain expected outcomes, evaluate progress toward the attainment of the proposed outcome, and systematically enhance the quality and effectiveness of nursing practice.
- Exercise independent judgment in relation to patient care based on level of experience and knowledge, while working within an interdisciplinary team.
- Current FL RN license required or appropriate compact licensure.
- Advanced Nurse Practitioner license acceptable.
- American Red Cross or American Heart Association Basic Life Support Course (BLS or BCLS) and Certification required within 30 days.
