Job Overview:

Accountable for all grilled, broiled, fried, and sautéed dishes prepared in the kitchen. Responsibilities include the preparation and portioning of food items prior to cooking, such as tempura selections, sauces, and grilled dishes. Additional tasks encompass plating and garnishing cooked items. You will also be responsible for upholding a clean and sanitary kitchen workstation.

Requirements:
  • At least 1 year of cooking experience is strongly preferred.
  • Prior experience in the restaurant or hospitality sector is essential.
  • Capability to maintain a professional and courteous demeanor during high-pressure and busy periods.
  • Must be able to collaborate effectively as part of a team and appreciate the significance of each team member's role in the guest dining experience.
  • Ability to prepare food for consumption with a solid understanding of appropriate techniques and equipment.
  • Familiarity with industry standards regarding food storage and handling practices is highly desirable.
  • Exhibit sound judgment and possess strong problem-solving abilities.
  • Must be able to walk, sit, and stand for extended periods.
  • Where applicable, must hold a state and/or local food handlers card.
  • Must be at least 18 years of age or in accordance with state law.
  • Eligibility to work in the United States is required.
  • Flexibility to work various shifts, including holidays, nights, and weekends. Willingness to work overtime as needed.
