Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and reliable Construction Laborer to join our team at Engineering/Remediation Resources Group, Inc. As a key member of our operations team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the success of our environmental remediation construction projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform a variety of physical labor tasks at construction sites, including operating hand and power tools, cleaning and preparing sites, and assisting other craft workers.
  • Control traffic passing near, in, and around work zones, and signal equipment operators to facilitate alignment, movement, and adjustment of machinery, equipment, and materials.
  • Dig ditches or trenches, backfill excavations, and compact and level earth using picks, shovels, pneumatic tampers, and rakes.
  • Load, unload, and identify building materials, machinery, and tools, and distribute them to the appropriate locations in accordance with project plans and specifications.
  • Build and position forms for pouring concrete, and dismantle forms after use, using saws, hammers, nails, or bolts.
Requirements
  • One year of industry-related experience.
  • Ability to operate construction tools and equipment.
  • Basic math and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to lift 50 pounds regularly and stand/walk up to 100% of shift.
  • Pass a drug test and background check.
  • Have dependable transportation and a valid driver's license.
  • Ability to travel to project sites as needed.
  • 40-Hour HAZWOPER training and 8-Hour HAZWOPER refresher.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience working on environmental remediation construction projects.
