Key Responsibilities- Personal Care: Provide daily personal care to residents, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
- Transfer and Ambulation: Safely transfer and assist residents with ambulation, using assistive devices as needed.
- Vital Signs and Observations: Accurately take vital signs and report any changes in resident condition to the nursing staff.
- Room Maintenance: Maintain the cleanliness and organization of resident rooms, ensuring a safe and comfortable environment.
- Meal Service: Serve meal trays and assist with feeding as needed.
- Documentation: Complete accurate and timely documentation in our electronic medical records system.
- Communication: Communicate effectively with nursing staff and other caregivers to ensure seamless care delivery.
- Certification: Current certification as a Certified Nursing Assistant in the State of Connecticut is required.
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent is required.
- Experience: Experience with electronic medical records is preferred.
- Language: Must be able to speak, read, and write the English language in an understandable manner.
- Competitive Pay: $19.00-$23.00 per hour (based on experience) + shift differential.
