Position Objective:
The role involves the installation, upkeep, and troubleshooting of low voltage cabling systems for clients within the Northern Illinois and Southern Wisconsin regions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Execute service enhancements, refurbishments, and retrofitting for low-voltage cabling solutions.
- Conduct preventative maintenance on surveillance cameras, displays, and other related equipment.
- Diagnose issues with low voltage cabling utilized in video, voice, audio, and data communication systems.
- Document and maintain records or reports associated with testing and inspection activities.
- Install, terminate, and organize low-voltage cabling at client locations.
- Assist in the setup and configuration of infrastructure rack equipment rooms.
- Resolve various cabling and connectivity issues.
- Receive on-the-job training as needed.

- Excellent communication abilities, capable of establishing rapport and providing outstanding customer service at all levels.
- Proficient in problem-solving, creative thinking, and dedicated to assisting clients.
- Highly driven individual with strong interpersonal capabilities to thrive in diverse work settings.
- Ability to independently complete tasks to required standards without supervision.
Job Qualifications:
- Willingness to travel to client sites across the Northern Illinois and Southern Wisconsin areas.
- Commitment to work the necessary hours to complete essential tasks.
- Availability for full-time work, including overtime and flexible hours.
- High school diploma or GED is required.
- Possession of a valid driver's license.
- Access to reliable transportation.
- Capability to lift up to 50 lbs.
- Ability to fully squat, stoop, or kneel as needed.
- Capacity to maintain a standing position for extended periods while performing repetitive tasks such as handling wires.
- Comfortable working from ladders and/or scissor/boom lifts.
- Ability to operate in various weather conditions including cold, rain, and heat.
- Tolerance for high noise levels typical of construction environments.
