Key Responsibilities
  • Provide direct patient care under the supervision of a licensed nurse, including vital signs, bathing, and dressing patients.

  • Monitor patients' conditions and report any changes or concerns to the nursing staff.
  • Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement individualized care plans.
  • Maintain a clean and safe environment, adhering to infection control and safety protocols.
Requirements
  • Current Louisiana Certification as a Nurses' Assistant (CNA)
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association
  • Crisis Prevention and Intervention (CPI) certification
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • 1-2 years of experience in a healthcare setting, preferably in oncology
