Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Speech-Language Pathologist to provide essential speech and language therapy services to students in a school setting.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive speech and language assessments to determine students' communication needs.
  • Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) in collaboration with teachers, parents, and other professionals.
  • Provide direct speech and language therapy services to students with communication disorders.
  • Collaborate with teachers and special education staff to create and implement strategies that support students' communication goals within the classroom setting.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of student progress, therapy sessions, and IEP goals.
  • Stay current with best practices in speech-language pathology and participate in ongoing professional development opportunities.

Qualifications:

  • Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Sciences and Disorders from an accredited program.
  • Current state licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist in Texas. ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred.
  • Previous experience working in a school setting is highly desirable. Experience with a diverse student population and a range of speech and language disorders is a plus.
