Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide daily support to patients, addressing their basic needs and collaborating with medical staff to achieve exceptional care.\
  • Collaborate with medical professionals, following established protocols and procedures to ensure seamless care.\
  • Develop strong relationships with patients, families, and co-workers, fostering open communication and collaboration.\
  • Stay up-to-date with equipment, patient outcomes, and potential complications, applying this knowledge to deliver high-quality care.\
  • Participate in ongoing skill development and demonstrate competence in performing job duties.\
  • Work collaboratively with medical staff, adhering to established standards and guidelines.\

Requirements:

  • \
  • Patient Care Tech I requires one year of clinical hospital experience or completion of a nursing assistant training program or equivalent.\
  • Patient Care Tech II requires 90 days of initial competence validation for PCTI and completion of formalized phlebotomy, order entry, and EKG/Dysrhythmia Interpretation training.\

  • Exposure to hazardous risks including infections, blood and body fluids, and chemicals.\
