Your Responsibilities

Install, configure, program, and maintain Fire Alarm and Fire Suppression Systems, including but not limited to brands such as Simplex, Fike, Kidde, Inergen, Sapphire, FM-200, and CO2, along with other related building systems at various client locations.

Execution of Duties

  • Complete projects within designated timelines and installation hours.
  • Collaborate with project managers to address discrepancies and coordination challenges affecting installation processes.
  • Manage multiple projects concurrently.
  • Interpret complex blueprints, diagrams, specifications, and operational manuals. Coordinate installation efforts with various trades to enhance efficiency. Attend all necessary site meetings.
  • Train clients on the operational functionality of the systems. Conduct demonstrations and address inquiries.
  • Deliver exceptional customer service by maintaining clear communication with district personnel and clients to ensure satisfaction.
  • Document project details promptly.
  • Comply with all safety regulations and company policies. Participate in an on-call rotation as scheduled.
  • Perform additional tasks as assigned.

Qualifications We Seek

Essential

  • High School Diploma or Equivalent
  • Minimum of three (3) years of proven experience in low voltage electrical systems, particularly in Fire/Life Safety systems, Access Control, Nurse Call, and Paging systems.
  • Proficient in reading and interpreting blueprints, specifications, and operational manuals.
  • Experience with hand tools, testing equipment, multi-meters, digital analyzers, and commissioning devices.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain necessary licenses as mandated by National, State, and local regulations.
  • Capable of performing physical tasks, including lifting and moving equipment weighing up to 50-70 lbs.
  • Willingness to work in various positions, including climbing ladders and scaffolding, and navigating confined spaces.
  • Flexibility to work varied hours, including weekends, to meet client needs.
  • Demonstrated commitment to customer service excellence.
  • Ability to lead and collaborate effectively with team members.
  • Adherence to safety guidelines and procedures at all times.
  • Strong organizational skills, a positive demeanor, and a quick learning ability.
  • Valid driver's license and a driving record that aligns with company standards.
  • Ability to pass a pre-employment background check and drug screening.
  • Willingness to travel overnight as necessary.

Preferred

  • NICET Level II certification.
  • State-specific licenses.
  • Familiarity with local Fire Codes.
