POSITION SUMMARY:
The Senior Clinical Supervisor at Endeavors is tasked with supporting the Associate Director of Mental Health Services and the Senior Manager of Mental Health in overseeing the mental health and counseling services within the clinical division. This role involves mentoring new clinicians and continuously evaluating the performance and responsibilities of the clinical staff. The Senior Clinical Supervisor is expected to provide expert guidance on mental health interventions and ensure that the clinical team meets strict deadlines and compliance requirements related to documentation and assessments.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Oversee the clinical department, providing individual and group counseling services to children in care.
  • Conduct and evaluate mental health assessments and screenings, including rare trafficking assessments.
  • Ensure adherence to all deadlines and compliance with state, ORR, and internal policies.
  • Provide crisis intervention and trauma response as needed based on program requirements.
  • Facilitate ongoing training and development for the clinical team.
  • Coordinate with external service providers and stakeholders to share relevant information regarding children's mental health.
  • Exhibit comprehensive knowledge of clinical practices and professional skills.
  • Supervise the management of referrals, service planning, and documentation for assigned cases.
  • Engage in weekly team meetings and training sessions.
  • Participate in professional development activities such as workshops and seminars.
  • Oversee the accurate preparation and submission of mental health documentation using designated software.
  • Support clinicians in monitoring changes in children's behavior and circumstances that may impact their safety and well-being.
  • Ensure all required services are delivered and escalate mental health concerns to appropriate leadership.
  • Maintain a clinical and trauma-informed perspective for each child in care.
  • Assist clinicians in evaluating client progress towards treatment goals and positive outcomes.
  • Audit clinician case files to ensure compliance with agency policies and funding requirements.
  • Participate in on-call rotations to address campus emergencies and departmental needs.
  • Assist in the daily operations of the Mental Health department.
  • Other duties may be assigned as necessary.
  • Demonstrate exceptional customer service by prioritizing the needs of children, families, and clients in all interactions.

QUALIFICATIONS:
EDUCATION: A master's degree or higher in Social Work, Psychology, or a related mental health field is required.
EXPERIENCE: A minimum of two years of experience in the behavioral health field, specifically in mental health treatment for children, along with two years of supervisory experience overseeing a team of more than ten individuals. Experience working with migrant children, particularly unaccompanied minors, is essential. Knowledge of Trauma-Informed Care and de-escalation techniques is required. Certification in Non-violent Crisis Intervention and safe restraint is preferred. Proven leadership skills in a dynamic environment are necessary.
ATTENDANCE: Regular and acceptable attendance is required as determined by the employer.
LICENSES: A valid driver's license with a clean record is required. A current Texas license to practice psychology, social work, or counseling (LCSW, LPC, LMSW, LMFT) is mandatory.
OTHER REQUIREMENTS: The Senior Clinical Supervisor must be at least 21 years old, bilingual in English and Spanish, and willing to travel as needed. The candidate must not pose a direct threat to the safety or health of themselves or others.
