We are seeking a skilled CT Technologist to join our team at Travel Nurse Across America. As a CT Technologist, you will play a critical role in ensuring the accuracy and quality of computed tomography images for medical interpretation.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Confirm patient identification and review imaging requests to ensure accurate and efficient scanning procedures.
  • Explain imaging procedures to patients, providing reassurance and support as needed.
  • Position patients correctly for scanning, utilizing your knowledge of anatomy and physiology.
  • Operate computerized tomography equipment to capture high-quality diagnostic images of internal organs and tissues.
  • Administer radiocontrast agents to enhance image visibility, while following safety protocols.
  • Evaluate CT scans for technical quality and accuracy.
  • Maintain accurate patient records and understand the McKesson PACS system.

Requirements:

  • 1 year of experience as a CT Technologist.
  • Active BLS certification and AART National certification with registration in computed tomography.
  • State-specific licensing, when required.
  • Ability to stand and walk for extended periods, with flexibility to bend, lean, or stoop without difficulty.
  • Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, pathology, and medical terminology.

Additional Requirements:

  • ARRT (CT) certification.
  • BLS certification.
  • 2 years of experience.
