Job Summary

Maintenance of building plumbing fixtures and systems is a crucial aspect of ensuring a safe and functional facility. As a Plumbing Technician, you will be responsible for inspecting, installing, repairing, and replacing pipes, fittings, and plumbing fixtures to maintain the heating, water, gas, and drainage systems of the Metrowest Medical Center.

Responsibilities
  • Under general direction, inspects and installs new plumbing system components, faucets, sinks, toilets, valves, etc.
  • Repairs and replaces pipes, fittings, and plumbing fixtures to ensure a safe and functional facility.
  • Performs other related tasks to the maintenance, service, repair, testing, inspection, and installation of plumbing/piping systems and components.
  • May provide assistance to other maintenance personnel in performing repair and service functions.
Qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Graduate of trade or vocational school in a related field preferred.
  • Journey plumber license required.

The estimated salary for this position is $$60,000 - $80,000 per year, depending on experience. Tenet complies with federal, state, and/or local laws regarding mandatory vaccination of its workforce. If you are offered this position and must be vaccinated under any applicable law, you will be required to show proof of full vaccination or obtain an approval of a religious or medical exemption prior to your start date. If you receive an exemption from the vaccination requirement, you will be required to submit to regular testing in accordance with the law.
