Job Summary:

The MRI Technologist is responsible for operating MRI equipment, performing imaging procedures, and ensuring the highest level of patient care and safety. You will work closely with radiologists, patients, and other healthcare professionals to provide accurate and timely diagnostic imaging results.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Operate MRI equipment and perform imaging procedures
  • Ensure patient safety and comfort during procedures
  • Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to provide accurate diagnostic imaging results
  • Maintain accurate records and reports
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives
Requirements:
  • ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologist) - MR certification
  • Proven ability to follow oral and written instructions
  • Proven ability to communicate effectively with patients, visitors, and employees
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Associate degree or Baccalaureate degree in radiography, radiation therapy, or nuclear medicine
  • 1+ years of MRI Technologist experience
Physical Demands:

The MRI Technologist position requires standing and walking for extended periods, lifting and carrying items weighing up to 50 pounds, and lifting patients weighing up to 300 pounds. The ability to operate equipment and review developed films requires eyesight correctable to 20/20.
