Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform routine maintenance tasks to ensure the upkeep of our facilities, including cleaning, painting, and repairing walls, floors, and ceilings.
  • Service and maintain facility equipment, including HVAC systems, plumbing, and electrical systems.
  • Conduct regular inspections to identify and address potential hazards and maintenance issues.
  • Assist in the repair and maintenance of wheelchairs, lifts, and other mobility equipment.
  • Perform minor carpentry, electrical, and plumbing repairs as needed.
  • Monitor and maintain the cleanliness of our facilities, including the dining room, maintenance shop, and downspouts.
  • Hang pictures and connect TVs for patients as needed.
  • Assist with special projects and tasks as assigned by management.

Requirements:

  • High school graduate or equivalent.
  • Valid NC Driver's License.
  • Knowledge of general maintenance and repair principles.
  • Experience in HVAC, plumbing, and electrical systems.
  • General computer knowledge for troubleshooting and software work order systems.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for long periods.
  • Knowledge of fire alarm panels and emergency shutdown procedures.
