Position Overview:
eTeam Inc is currently in search of a dedicated travel nurse RN specializing in Medical Surgical for an exciting opportunity.

Shift Details:
- 12-hour shifts

Unit Information:
Department:
- MedSurg - 6th Floor
- This primarily serves as a medical floor with some surgical overflow. It encompasses various medical conditions including respiratory and gastrointestinal issues, as well as behavioral health cases for patients requiring extended stays.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Must possess EPIC experience and be open to mentoring new travelers.
  • Charge Nurse on each shift typically does not take patients unless necessary.

Support Staff:
  • Presence of nurse aides and patient care technicians.
  • Utilization of virtual telemetry technicians.

Shift & Scheduling Requirements:

- 12-hour shifts with a weekend commitment of 5 shifts within a 6-week timeframe.


  • Holidays may be required based on operational needs.
  • Flexibility to float between MedSurg 5, MedSurg 6, and a 9-bed overflow unit.

Orientation:

- 3 days of general orientation including EPIC training and meetings with educational staff, along with online modules to complete prior to the start of the assignment.

- 2 shifts on the unit with a preceptor for hands-on training.


Radius Rule:

This facility enforces a radius rule of 50 miles. Candidates must provide their permanent address to ensure compliance with this policy.


Compensation:

The pay package is structured around 12-hour shifts and 36 hours per week, with a tax-free stipend amount to be confirmed.
