Job Overview

We are currently seeking Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs) to enhance our community at TerraBella Northridge.

The role of a CNA involves delivering essential hands-on care and emotional support to residents, ensuring a safe and nurturing environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee a designated group of residents, ensuring their safety and well-being throughout the shift.
  • Monitor and document any changes in residents' conditions, including physical and behavioral observations.
  • Respond promptly to security alerts and resident call signals.
  • Inform supervisors or Health Care Coordinators of any increased care requirements for residents.
  • Assist with continence management and maintain sanitation standards in resident suites and communal restrooms.
  • Serve and collect food trays, assisting residents as necessary, and report any meal refusals or appetite issues.
  • Ensure cleanliness in residents' rooms and work areas.
  • Adhere to hygiene and health standards in all care practices.
  • Support residents in maintaining their independence and dignity while promoting their physical safety.
  • Engage residents in daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and eating as per instructions.
  • Encourage participation in life skills and enrichment activities.
  • Provide assistance to all visitors, including family members, guests, and team members.
  • Handle resident laundry as assigned.
  • Perform additional duties as directed by the Supervisor.

Qualifications:

  • Preferred: Certified Nurse's Aide certification.
  • High School diploma or GED required.
  • Must be at least 18 years old.
  • Previous experience with senior care is preferred.
