Job Summary:

Waste Connections is seeking a safety-conscious Union Truck Washer to join our team in Eugene, Oregon. This full-time position will perform a variety of duties, including washing and cleaning trucks in support of maintenance operations.

Responsibilities:

  • Organize and implement a truck cleanliness program and ensure trucks adhere to a scheduled wash routine.
  • Operate a pressure washer and perform custodial functions to maintain order and cleanliness in the work area.
  • Assist in keeping building grounds and wash bay clean and organized.
  • Perform minor repairs to equipment and facilities.

Requirements:

  • Valid driver's license
  • Proven ability to work independently with minimal supervision
  • Experience in a maintenance shop or industrial environment preferred
  • Ability to work safely in all weather conditions
  • Ability to regularly lift and/or move up to 50 lbs
