Position Overview
RAYUS Radiology is seeking a dedicated Lead Radiologic Technologist to join our esteemed team. This role is essential in providing direction and oversight to our technical services, ensuring adherence to professional standards while delivering exceptional patient care.

Key Responsibilities
1. Patient Imaging
- Conduct thorough screenings of patients prior to examinations to identify any precautions or contraindications.
- Execute both routine and advanced radiologic procedures on specified body areas for diagnostic purposes, with minimal supervision.
- Clearly explain procedures to patients, ensuring they are well-prepared and comfortable throughout the imaging process.
- Maintain accurate patient records within the Radiology Information System (RIS) and adjust scan parameters as necessary, employing dose reduction techniques.
- Follow physician directives meticulously while adhering to safety regulations to ensure the well-being of patients and staff.
- Produce high-quality diagnostic images and perform assigned quality control tasks.
- Foster positive relationships with radiologists and referring physicians.
- Stay motivated to enhance knowledge in the field and adapt to evolving procedures.
- Ensure equipment is well-maintained, cleaned, and in safe working order, addressing any hazardous conditions promptly.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment to promote safety.
- Encourage positive interactions with patients, physicians, and colleagues.

2. Staff Management
- Ensure comprehensive understanding of company policies and protocols among all technologists.
- Assist in the staffing and hiring processes alongside management.
- Oversee staffing levels to guarantee adequate coverage at all times.
- Monitor and approve timecards for staff.
- Facilitate training for new team members, providing guidance and technical expertise.
- Schedule regular meetings with management to discuss operations and staff performance.
- Participate in performance evaluations and development plans for associates, including disciplinary actions when necessary.

3. Operational Coordination
- Manage patient relations to ensure high-quality service delivery.
- Ensure compliance with state regulations and internal policies regarding documentation and safety.
- Order necessary supplies in accordance with inventory control guidelines.

Qualifications
- ARRT registered technologist, in good standing.
- Graduate of an AMA-approved radiography program.
- Licensed Radiological Technologist in the relevant state, if applicable.
- Current CPR certification.
- Sufficient training and experience to independently perform radiographic procedures.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bilingual capabilities.
- Previous supervisory experience.
