Job SummaryWe are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Supervisory Auditor to join our team at the Defense Contract Audit Agency. As a Supervisory Auditor, you will be responsible for leading a team of auditors in conducting financial and compliance audits of defense contracts. You will also be responsible for developing and implementing audit plans, conducting risk assessments, and identifying areas for improvement.
Key Responsibilities- Lead a team of auditors in conducting financial and compliance audits of defense contracts
- Develop and implement audit plans, including risk assessments and audit procedures
- Conduct audits to ensure compliance with laws, regulations, and contract requirements
- Identify areas for improvement and develop recommendations for corrective action
- Communicate audit results and recommendations to management and other stakeholders
- 5+ years of experience in auditing, with a focus on financial and compliance audits
- Experience leading a team of auditors and developing and implementing audit plans
- Strong knowledge of laws, regulations, and contract requirements related to defense contracting
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines
- Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or Certified Internal Auditor (CIA) certification
- Experience with audit software and tools, such as ACL or IDEA
- Knowledge of government contracting laws and regulations, including the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR)
