**Job Overview:**

We are looking for an experienced Chief Estimator to join our team and lead the estimating operations for heavy civil construction projects in Martinsburg, WV, and surrounding areas. The successful candidate will have a strong background in estimating and project management, with experience working on site development, DOT projects, and concrete/asphalt work.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing accurate cost estimates, collaborating with clients and internal teams, and utilizing estimating tools and software. They will also support the growth of the organization through strategic estimating practices and mentoring the estimating team.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and manage estimating operations for heavy civil construction projects.
  • Collaborate with clients and internal teams to deliver competitive proposals.
  • Utilize and implement estimating tools and software, including AGTEK and HCSS.
  • Mentor and develop the estimating team.
  • Support organizational growth through strategic estimating practices.

Requirements:

  • Experience: Minimum of 10-15 years as a full-time Estimator or Senior Estimator in site development, DOT projects, and concrete/asphalt paving.
  • Proven track record of estimating projects exceeding $5M.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in AGTEK and HCSS software is preferred but not required.
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field is preferred.

Compensation & Benefits:

Salary: $160K-$170K/year, based on qualifications. Comprehensive benefits package, including healthcare. Generous paid time off.
