Key Responsibilities
  • Evaluate patients to determine their need for occupational therapy intervention and make referrals to other treatment team members as needed.
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to help patients achieve their goals.
  • Provide direct patient services, including evaluating, diagnosing, and treating patients.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care and effective communication.
  • Document patient progress and maintain accurate records.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program.
  • Current license as an Occupational Therapist in the state of practice.
  • Current BLS certification endorsed by the American Heart Association.
  • At least one year of experience in a setting serving the same age/type of patient population served by this facility or department.
