Responsibilities- Patient Assessment and Care Planning: Conduct thorough assessments of patients' physical, emotional, and spiritual needs, and develop individualized care plans to address these needs.
- Collaboration and Communication: Work closely with interdisciplinary teams, including physicians, therapists, and other healthcare professionals, to ensure seamless care coordination and effective communication.
- Medication Administration and Management: Administer medications as prescribed, monitor patients' responses, and report any adverse reactions or concerns to the healthcare team.
- Wound Care and Management: Assess and manage wounds, including debridement, dressing changes, and wound care education for patients and families.
- Education and Support: Provide education and support to patients and families on disease management, medication adherence, and self-care techniques.
- Education: Graduate of an accredited or NLN-approved RN program.
- License and Certification: Current Nevada nursing license and current BLS and ACLS certifications.
- Experience: One year of full-time or three years of part-time experience in an acute care setting preferred.
