Job Overview:

We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our team at HexaQuEST Health, Inc. as part of our nursing staff in the Heart and Vascular Progressive Care unit.

About the Opportunity:

This is a 36 hour per week position that requires working primarily 12 hour night shifts, weekends, and holidays as operationally needed.

About You:

To succeed in this role, you will need to have:

  • At least 2 years of acute care experience within the last 3 years, preferably in an IMC/PCU setting.
  • A valid WI nursing license or compact license from your permanent address state.
  • Certification in BLS & ACLS through the American Heart Association.
  • Experience with telemetry and basic arrhythmia interpretation.
  • Ability to pass the UW Health Telemetry test prior to being cleared to start.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide high-quality patient care in the Heart and Vascular Progressive Care unit, utilizing evidence-based practices and collaborating with interdisciplinary teams to achieve optimal patient outcomes.
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient information, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and organizational policies.
  • Participate in shared governance initiatives, contributing to quality improvement projects and professional development opportunities.
  • Floating to floors working with children up to 1 year of age and/or based on your competency skills/experience.
