Strategic Tax Planner

Hantz Group, a leading Michigan-based financial company, is seeking an experienced Strategic Tax Planner. As part of our team, you will work closely with Financial Advisors to develop comprehensive financial strategies and minimize clients' tax liability.

We offer a competitive salary range of $80,000 - $120,000 per year, commensurate with experience, plus benefits including Health/Dental/Vision Insurance, Paid Time Off, 401K, Vol LTD, Vol Life, Flexible Spending Account (FSA), and more.

• Analyze Tax Liability: Utilize expertise to identify areas for tax reduction and implement strategies to minimize clients' tax burden.
• Prepare Tax Projections: Develop accurate projections to help clients plan for future tax obligations.
• Prepare and File Tax Returns: Ensure timely and accurate filing of federal, state, and local tax returns.
• Client Relationship Building: Foster strong relationships with clients through effective communication and personalized service.
• Market and Sell Tax Plans: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to promote and sell customized tax plans.

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• 6+ years of experience preparing and reviewing federal, state, and local tax returns for individuals, partnerships, corporations, and trusts.
• Active Enrolled Agent (EA) or Certified Public Accountant (CPA) license required.
• Preparer Tax Identification Number (PTIN) also required.
• Experience with CCH Axcess Software preferred.
