Neurosurgeon Assistant

UF Health is seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Advanced Practice Provider to join our Neurosurgery team. As a key member of our team, you will provide exceptional patient care and work collaboratively with our attending physicians to deliver high-quality medical services.

• Assist attending physicians in the care and management of patients on Inpatient units, Emergency Department, and Clinic settings.
• Conduct patient rounds, contribute to daily care decisions, write orders, and interact with consultants as needed.
• Facilitate and coordinate scheduling of therapeutic and diagnostic tests and procedures.
• Make frequent bedside visits to assess patient status and direct care accordingly.

• Master's degree from an accredited Physician Assistant or Nursing program.
• Current and clear license as a Physician Assistant (PA) or Advanced Nurse Practitioner (ARNP) in the State of Florida.
• BLS certification required.

• Monday to Friday schedule, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM or 4/10 hour shifts.
• No on-call responsibilities.
• No work assignments during holidays.
• Weekends off.
• Ongoing educational opportunities, including specialized training provided by attending physicians.
