Produce Clerk Role

We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Produce Clerk to join our team at Greer's Markets. As a Produce Clerk, you will be responsible for assisting the produce manager with tasks including filling, culling, and rotating produce. You will also be responsible for wrapping, packaging, cutting, and general preparation of produce.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Filling and rotating produce to ensure a full and fresh department
  • Culling and inspecting produce to maintain high-quality standards
  • Wrapping and packaging produce for customer sale
  • Preparing produce for display and sale
  • Working closely with the produce manager to maintain a clean and organized department

Requirements:

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Ability to lift and move heavy objects
  • Knowledge of produce handling and storage procedures
