Sigma Healthcare is seeking an experienced MRI Technologist to work onsite at our client's facility in Wenatchee, WA.


Job Summary:
We are looking for a skilled and dedicated MRI technician to provide clear images to Physicians through MRI scanning. The ideal candidate will have strong communication and interpersonal skills, and be sensitive to the needs of patients.
Responsibilities:
  • Explain the MRI process to patients and ensure they comply with all safety standards.
  • Position and possibly sedate patients to capture clear images of the correct area of the body.
  • Remove and replace IVs and catheters for the MRI process.
  • Maneuver the MRI equipment and position it to capture the correct images.
  • Monitor patients during scanning and maintain patient records.
  • Monitor MRI equipment functions.
  • Ensure clear images for Physicians to provide accurate diagnoses.
  • Recognize abnormalities and irregularities in images.

Requirements:
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Attention to detail, mathematical skills, and technical skills.
  • Proficient computer skills.
  • At least 1 year of experience as an MRI Technologist.
  • Must have Siemens scanner experience.
  • Prefer Epic and IBM Merge PACS experience.
  • Must have WA certification.
  • ARRT(MR) required.
