EHS Specialist

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced EHS Specialist to join our team at Actalent. As an EHS Specialist, you will be responsible for designing, developing, implementing, and overseeing the organization's environmental, health, and safety programs.

Key Responsibilities

• Ensure compliance with regulations and government health and safety laws in all facilities
• Investigate accidents, develop recommendations, and follow-up to prevent accident recurrence
• Analyze and measure the effectiveness of existing business processes
• Develop sustainable, repeatable, and quantifiable business process improvements
• Assist team in identifying process bottlenecks, conduct root cause analysis, and implement process improvements
• Conduct safety audits, studies, and investigations

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Occupational Safety, Industrial Hygiene, Environmental Sciences, or related field
• 2+ years' experience in EHS
• Experience with energy a PLUS
• Experience with continuous improvement a PLUS
