The Night Auditor is a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our hotel's front desk and accounting functions. As a Night Auditor, you will be responsible for managing the front desk during the overnight shift, handling guest registrations, making reservations, and preparing daily reports. Your attention to detail and organizational skills will be essential in balancing transactions and conducting security walks.
Responsibilities- Manage the front desk during the overnight shift, ensuring a high level of customer service and resolving any guest issues that may arise.
- Register guests, make reservations, and prepare daily reports, maintaining accurate records and ensuring compliance with hotel policies.
- Balance transactions, reconcile accounts, and conduct security walks to ensure the hotel's safety and security.
- Assist with guest requests, respond to emergencies, and maintain a positive and professional demeanor at all times.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless operations and provide excellent guest experiences.
- At least 1 year of progressive experience in a hotel or related field.
- High School diploma or equivalent required; college coursework in a related field is helpful.
- Previous supervisory responsibility is preferred.
- Ability to work independently and with minimal supervision.
- Knowledge of accounting principles and proficiency in Windows operating systems, company-approved spreadsheets, and word processing.
