Job SummaryWe are looking for a highly motivated and experienced Dental Hygienist to provide high-quality patient care and contribute to the success of our practice. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, a strong work ethic, and a passion for delivering exceptional patient experiences.
Responsibilities- Provide thorough and gentle dental hygiene services to patients, including cleanings, exams, and education.
- Develop and maintain a strong understanding of patient medical and dental histories, including allergies, medications, and treatment plans.
- Collaborate with the dental team to ensure seamless patient care and efficient practice operations.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest dental hygiene techniques, technologies, and best practices through ongoing education and training.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the development of practice policies and procedures.
- Current dental hygienist license in Florida.
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in dental hygiene (where required).
- Excellent working knowledge of dentistry, dental hygiene procedures, and patient screening and medical history documentation.
- CPR certification.
- 0-2 years of clinical experience (preferably in a general dentistry or specialty practice).
- Experience using Velscope, Diagnodent, digital scanner, digital x-rays, and electronic medical record systems.
