Job Title: Retail Sales Associate

The Florida Panthers are a community-focused organization led by an authentic management team that served our country and now serves the South Florida community. Led by General Manager Bill Zito, we're coming off our best season in franchise history, entering the season as Stanley Cup Champions. Off the ice, our business is experiencing growth across all key metrics, with revenue at an all-time high. We're expanding outside of Amerant Bank Arena via the renovation of the FTL War Memorial in downtown Fort Lauderdale. This state-of-the-art ice facility features two regulation-size rinks, including a new team practice rink with stadium seating, and a 4,000-capacity music theatre for live entertainment. The future is bright, and we're proud of what we're building in South Florida.

Job Summary:

The Retail Sales Associate has the opportunity to develop great relationships with our repeat customers while informing first-time customers of everything we have to offer. This role is responsible for enhancing customer experience and sales generation in the following areas:

Essential Functions:
  • Providing exceptional customer service
  • Assisting customers with buying decisions
  • Increasing sales volume
  • Monitoring inventory and preventing theft
  • Maintaining store appearance
  • Merchandising and creating displays
Qualifications:
  • Sales experience preferred, with sports/retail sales experience a plus
  • Playing experience in hockey or figure skating preferred
  • Knowledge of hockey and/or figure skating equipment preferred
  • High school diploma preferred
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Professional appearance and presentation
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
Work Environment:
  • This position works at a professional ice rink, where the noise level can be high, crowd traffic can be heavy, and temperatures are often cold; lights are bright or dark with occasional exposure to flashing lights.

This is a part-time position, requiring a flexible schedule including late nights, weekends, and holidays as needed.
